Applicants must have completed 2 years of undergraduate study at the start of the exchange program. Students must be graduate students to take graduate courses.
"First cycle" in Chalmers is year 1-3 at the bachelor's level. "Second cycle" is year 4-5 at the master's level. Master's introduction courses are also included in the first cycle.
