Study abroad through the largest international exchange community!
ISEP Exchange offers more programs, more academic options, and more locations than any other study abroad opportunity. On ISEP Exchange, you’ll be part of a 40+ year tradition of global cooperation, sustainable travel, and equitable opportunities. Students around the world participate in this unique program, creating access for each other to experience another country and culture as part of ISEP’s global community.
Affordability
ISEP Exchange students pay their home university cost for their tuition, housing, and meals. That means it costs about the same to go abroad as it does to study at your university now! You’ll just need to factor in a few extra fees for travel, a visa, your application, and insurance expenses.
Accessible for All
ISEP exchange placements are available to students in every major and with any language level. Students around the world are eligible for ISEP Exchange, and your participation opens a spot on your campus for an international student to study at your university.

💡 Important note to consider when choosing your program
- Students can only apply to exchange programs at universities that have the semester system (Direct program X, quarter system X, trimester system X)
- Due to visa issues, students cannot select universities in Italy and France.
- Students must check the language requirements for each university. Some countries (i.e. Spain) may require additional proof of language proficiency (either a test certificate issued within 2 years or an assessment of the home university faculty) of the country's main language, even if the student chooses to participate in the English program only.
- Students must have the required documents ready when applying, so students are expected to complete in-depth research on their preferred universities' requirements before applying. Some UK universities may not accept TOEFL, so a student trying to apply to these universities needs to have a valid IELTS score along with the TOEFL score when applying. Taking an IELTS score after the placement is not possible.
- Prior to your departure, you will pay housing and meal fees to Yonsei University based on the standard set by Yonsei. Once abroad, you will receive housing and meal benefits from your host university, which may be more or less than the exact amount you paid to Yonsei, and the payment methods may vary. Please check the housing and meal plan for each university.
